Dr Gavin Fennessy is a specialist ecologist with over 25 years of experience in environmental consultancy. He established Ecology Ireland Wildlife Consultants in 2011. Since then he has contributed to and Project Managed numerous impact assessment projects including EcIA, EIAR, AA, SEA etc. Gavin is a trained and experienced Expert Witness having provided testimony at several An Bord Pleanála Oral Hearings.
Gavin is an experienced public speaker and has been a Guest Lecturer on a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses at University College Cork. Gavin is the retained wildlife specialist at Dublin Airport, advising daa in relation to Wildlife Hazard issues and sitting on the National Bird & Wildlife Hazard Committee.

Marie Kearns is a highly experienced ecologist and project manager with over 10 years of experience in environmental consultancy. She has fulfilled a variety of roles in ecology including marine mammal monitoring and terrestrial ecologist and has gained experience with a number of leading consultancy firms in Ireland.

Marie has a background in both terrestrial and marine ecology, with professional experience in the survey design and impact assessment. She has a broad range of field skills developed over the past decade and has a particular interest in terrestrial mammals, including bats. Marie has prepared numerous impact assessments and is highly proficient in ecological reporting and analysis.
